Guys, this is not a drill. This is the best makeup setting spray EVER. I will never use Fix+ again for setting makeup (I will still use it for other things).
Blue Marble Sealing Spray is a gift to all of us who spend time perfecting the masterpiece that is our face and who want it to last all night, or a lifetime.
I purchased from Nigel’s Beauty Emporium in North Hollywood. Turn’s out it’s not on Amazon (sorry prime users!) so here’s a link to Nigel’s as well as the company itself:

MAKEUP ARTISTS: NO EXCUSES, YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR KIT.

Fix+ by MAC isn’t supposed to be a makeup “sealer.” It’s as light moisturizer and spray to put on the face to make your powder look dewy. MAC doesn’t claim it as a “sealer” so it’s like comparing apples to oranges. Technically MAC doesn’t have a makeup “sealer.” You can cross reference this info at maccosmetics.com
Agreed but it does set the makeup. Most makeup artists use it to set makeup so I’m mentioning it so people know there is a better alternative.
Late to the party, but still thought I’d add my two cents, as a former MAC artist.
Fix+’s main ingredient is glycerine, which adds moisture to the skin. The main purpose of Fix+ is to “melt” all the layers of your makeup into one (and remove the powdery look from the skin — give it back its natural texture); THEN, you set it with a sealant. If you apply a sealant (such as Blue Marble) without Fix+, it’ll only set the first layer of your makeup. Everything underneath it will melt and slide off eventually.
TLDR; Fix+ isn’t meant to set makeup.
